Known as The Bomb, the yearbook was first published in 1885. After a nine year hiatus, it has been published continuously since 1895, with the exception of 1945 & 1946. Online editions are available from 1885 through 2010. This digitization project was made possible through the LYRASIS Mass Digitization Collaborative – a Sloan Foundation grant-subsidized program that has made digitization easy and affordable for libraries and cultural institutions across the country. Through the Collaborative’s partnership with the Internet Archive, all items were scanned from cover-to-cover and in full color. Colleges and universities throughout Virginia and around the country have participated in the yearbook digitization project.
